In this videochat, Jennifer Carvajal, TBS Senior Educational Director, will look at the role of teacher as researcher and how to use the tool of documentation to develop and share emergent curriculum. She will uncover the purpose and types of documentation, including process and final documentation panels, as well as additional, creative ways to make learning visible. Join us if you’re looking for ways to share classroom experiences and learning with children, parents, educators, and your community.

TBS Goes to Washington  (waitlist only)
February 10th and 11th

You’re invited to join our first educator tour to Washington, D.C.! Jane Racoosin, Founder, and Jennifer Carvajal, Senior Educational Director, will act as guides while you visit two Reggio-inspired pre-schools, attend a Light and Shadow workshop, reflect together in a private Georgetown townhouse over dinner and wine from Founding Farmers, and explore Renwick Art Gallery.
